After the massive success of its debut season, The Traitors Season 2 is all set to return to Prime Video on August 13, with filmmaker Karan Johar back as host. The palace doors are reopening, and with them comes another season of secrets, betrayals and psychological warfare.

Shot against the breathtaking backdrop of Suryagarh Palace in Jaisalmer, the new season promises even more twists, shifting loyalties and mind games. This year, 21 celebrities from the worlds of films, television, music, social media, business and comedy will compete in a game where trust is a luxury and deception is the ultimate strategy.

What is The Traitors?

Unlike traditional reality shows, The Traitors is built around strategy rather than public voting. At the beginning of the game, few contestants are secretly chosen as Traitors, while the rest remain Innocents.

Every night, the Traitors secretly eliminate one contestant. By day, everyone gathers to identify and vote out the people they suspect are Traitors. If the Innocents successfully expose all the Traitors, they split the prize money. But if even one Traitor survives until the finale, they can walk away with the entire jackpot.

Season 1 ended with Uorfi Javed and professional poker player Nikita Luther exposing the final Traitor, Harsh Gujral, and sharing the prize money.

Meet the 21 contestants of The Traitors Season 2

  1. Abhishek Malhan (Fukra Insaan)

The popular YouTuber and Bigg Boss OTT 2 runner-up enjoys enormous fan support. This time, however, reading people’s intentions will matter more than audience votes.

2. Mallika Sherawat

The Bollywood star, known for films like Murder and Welcome, makes her reality show debut. Outspoken and fearless, Mallika could become one of the season’s most unpredictable players.

3. Karan Singh

As a mentalist and mind reader, Karan Singh may have an edge in spotting deception, making him one of the most fascinating contestants this season.

4. Munawar Faruqui

After winning Lock Upp and Bigg Boss 17, Munawar enters yet another reality competition. His calm gameplay and ability to read people make him an early favourite.

5. Ranveer Brar

Celebrity chef, author and television personality Ranveer Brar swaps the kitchen for the palace, hoping his observational skills help him spot the Traitors.

6. Shweta Tiwari

A television icon and Bigg Boss 4 winner, Shweta brings years of experience and composure. Her strategic approach could make her a serious contender.

7. Rhea Chakraborty

Having appeared on MTV Roadies as a gang leader, Rhea now takes on a completely different challenge where every conversation could be a trap.

8. Shahneel Gill

Known for her growing social media presence, Shahneel Gill steps into reality television for the first time and hopes to make her own mark.

9. Dalip Tahil

One of the senior-most contestants this season, veteran actor Dalip Tahil brings decades of acting experience and plenty of screen presence.

10. Shalini Passi

After becoming a fan favourite on Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives, Shalini now steps into a game where personality alone won’t be enough—strategy will be everything.

11. Krystle D’Souza

The television actress joins the competition with a loyal fan following and will now attempt to prove she can outplay as well as entertain.

12. Parul Gulati

Actor and entrepreneur Parul Gulati has balanced business and entertainment successfully. She now faces a game where trust is constantly tested.

13. Soundous Moufakir

With reality shows like Roadies, Splitsvilla and Khatron Ke Khiladi already on her résumé, Soundous enters the palace with valuable experience.

14. Harman Singha

Actor and filmmaker Harman Singha, who has appeared in projects including Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, joins the celebrity lineup this season.

15. Ikka

The chart-topping rapper is stepping away from music to compete in a game where quick thinking may matter more than confidence.

16. Aditya Kulshreshtha (Kullu)

Popular comedian and content creator Kullu is known for his humour, but he’ll need much more than jokes to survive inside the palace.

17. Tanya Puri

Perhaps the most intriguing contestant this year, Tanya is one of India’s youngest private detectives. Her investigative skills could make life difficult for the Traitors.

18. Rida Tharana

The fashion and beauty creator enters the show after building a strong online following. Her close friend Apoorva Mukhija competed in Season 1, giving her some insight into the game’s unpredictable nature.

19. Sahil Salathia

After being eliminated on the very first night in Season 1, Sahil returns for another chance, hoping experience helps him last much longer this time.

20. Ansh Chopra

Digital creator Ansh Chopra joins the lineup as one of the newer faces, aiming to surprise both viewers and fellow contestants.

21. Prish

The youngest contestant this season, Prish will compete alongside seasoned actors and reality veterans, proving that age may not define strategy.

A Season Packed With Big Personalities

This year’s cast combines reality show champions, Bollywood stars, television favourites, social media influencers, entrepreneurs, musicians, a mentalist and even a professional detective. With so many strong personalities under one roof, forming alliances—and knowing whom to trust—will be harder than ever.

As the competition unfolds, every conversation, friendship and vote could become part of a much bigger game. With Karan Johar once again steering the drama, viewers can expect plenty of surprises, betrayals and unforgettable moments.

The Traitors Season 2 premieres on Prime Video on August 13, with new episodes releasing every Thursday. If the first season was any indication, this year’s battle of trust versus deception is set to be even more intense.
