Harshad Chopda and Shivangi Joshi have been one of the closest duos inside the Lock Upp house. Whether it was standing up for each other during heated arguments or backing one another during difficult situations, the two have often looked like they were playing the game as a team.But their latest disagreement has left viewers wondering if cracks are finally starting to appear in their bond.
The argument began after Shivangi pressed the buzzer while Harshad was in the middle of dyeing his hair. Harshad openly questioned her decision in front of the other contestants, asking why she had pressed it.From Shivangi’s perspective, however, she didn’t really have much of a choice. If she hadn’t pressed the buzzer, Shreya would have done it anyway. In that moment, Shivangi simply made the move she felt was necessary.
While this wasn’t an explosive fight by Lock Upp standards, it definitely caught my attention because it involved two contestants who are usually seen supporting each other no matter what.
What makes this moment even more interesting is the bigger picture. Harshad was recently evicted from the show, and throughout his journey, several contestants questioned whether he had a strong individual game. Many even accused him of constantly fighting on Shivangi’s behalf, with some going as far as calling him her “caretaker” rather than an independent player. That makes me wonder if this confrontation was about more than just the buzzer.
Could this have been Harshad’s way of proving that he isn’t just Shivangi’s biggest supporter? Was he trying to show the house that he can disagree with her and stand by his own opinions when he feels she’s wrong?Or was his reaction genuinely about something much simpler?
Harshad has mentioned being conscious about his white hair, so it’s also possible that being interrupted while dyeing it genuinely frustrated him more than we realized?Of course, this is just my theory based on what we’ve seen in the episode. There could be more to the story than what was shown on screen.
